I think I disagree.

Progressivism... please notice I don't call it Liberalism... lends itself very easily to satire. It's entirely based on feeling and utterly absent of any signs of logical reasoning. If you can't make comedy from that, you just suck at being funny...

This formula is exactly why the Daily Show and the Colbert Report is so funny. They both focus on the right wing theocratic trend that makes Republicans so obviously so un-American.

How can someone who obviously thinks so much of their ideas have so little respect for expressing them? How can someone who so yearns to be taken seriously make so little effort?!
