Monkey Island (SCUMM) on the Nintendo DS

So I found out about how there's a version of the SCUMM engine for the Nintendo DS and I want to try putting my copy of Monkey Island (along with other LucasArts classics) on my DS. It even supports the touch-pen just like a point-n-click mouse in the old games, which rules. From what I've read, the best means of doing this is by using the R4DS. Do any of you have experience with R4DS? If so, what are your thoughts on it. Looks like it costs anywhere from 40-50 bux and then you're set.
