The current FF run by Dwayne McDuffie is surprisingly good. I'd intended to drop the book after Straczynski left, but I found myself giving it one chance and I was impressed...McDuffie is one of the main writers for the Justice League cartoons and he's well known for his spot-on characterization.

Yeah, mcduffie is one of the better comic book writers around nowadays, I'd say. I really miss the jl cartoon
