Click on the "digg this article" button that Roger installed at the end of the article (or in this thread). See the comments thread there.
Digg is basically a site that collects links from other sites regarding news about technology, entertainment, etc...and if people like the article, they can "digg" it. The more diggs an article gets, the more prominent it becomes on the main page.
