I tend to appreciate bands a lot more based on musical and technical ability as opposed to emotional resonance, which is why I love stuff like Zappa and hate stuff like Bob Dylan and the Beatles.
there must be something about Dream Theatre. I've never heard their music really but, i've never heard any one say, "Meh". People either love them or hate them.
Would the first Fantomas album be rock opera, or is that just "soundtrack to a Mexican comic book"?
