Dr. Giggles 2, maybe?
What if the operation was to give the patient robotic limbs, but he was a serial killer and nobody knew it. And the killer was to be the second person to have robotic limbs, while the first person to have them was.... The Doctor himself! Then they switch bodies and the killer has the fully operational body and the doctor still has to work on his half finished limbs while the killer goes on a rampage.
