Well, it's finished. Wolf has been found and all is at peace. All except for GameFAQs. People are speculating that there's something bigger that we don't know about yet; something epic that can only be unlocked after a certain amount of time, or somesuch. I personally think it's just people still in denial over their favorite character not getting in but, hey, there might be something to it. The biggest indication is the lack of a "YOU'VE UNLOCKED ALL CHARACTERS!" screen. I believe Melee had one, not sure about 64, but until these people are told explicitly and in no unclear terms, they remain rabid. I'm personally a little tiffed because now we have THREE CHARACTERS that have the same final smash. I didn't mind Fox and Falco having it, but for Wolf to have it as well seems more than just a little lazy, considering from what I hear he's a complete clone. People were fine with just having Falco. And to be honest, I genuinely like Ganondorf being a slower, more powerful Captain Falcon and I'm damn good with him, but the differences between Fox and Falco were marginal at best. Bringing in another clone, what's he going to be? The middle ground? I'm trying to keep an open mind, as I'm sure the backlash for characters like Ice Climbers and G&W was tremendous for Melee, and the one guy I wanted more than any other is finally here (Dedede). At the same time, it's a little disheartening, and I can't tell whether I'd be happier or sadder had I not spoiled myself.
