as for the probation idea, i could create another tier of members that can dish out INFRACTIONS and have the numbers actually mean something. So if someone gets 10 infractions, they get banned for a day or something.

That sounds interesting. Perhaps we could nominate and vote on some members that have been here for a while and would be approved by the staff and regular members.
