Resident Evil 2. It was the first video game that I really played all the way through.
Had some great scares too.

Like in Claire's B senario when you're in this factory place and you into the surveillance room, right, and everything seems normal, then on one of the monitors you see Mr. X walking through a hallway that looks exactly like the one you used to enter the room. !!! (It isn't of course; it was somewhere else in the compound. Unsually subtle for a RE game.) |
Sounds lame, I know, but it was freaky when I was 11. I swear that game is the root of all my anxiety attacks.
