It's a series that takes itself too seriously, but it's still fun for the most part. The combat engine isn't great, but it's not the worst either. The whole thing is still popular because it has such a strong following and it's something that most people can get into.
Also, HOW DARE YOU LIKE VIOLENCE IN YOUR GAMES!!!! WHY DON'T YOU JUST GO MURDER SOMEONE WHILE THE REST OF US PLAY MARIO STRIKERS IN PEACE!!! JERK!!!
