I actually like the idea of MK vs. DC, but my god, having no fatalities has got to be one of the worst decisions in recent gaming history

The thing is, in order for a versus game to be good you have to have a solid fighting game mechnic in the first place. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was a good example of this. MK vs. DC will be the Hindenburg of games.

I think it will have camp value though, so I guess it won't be all bad.

Yeah I agree. All the 3D ones were completely shit. Especially the Wii one with the Mario Kart style mini-game.

The only thing about this which is interesting (as far as I'm aware) is that it is using Unreal Engine 3, which should give it a nice aesthetic at least. Maybe even some decent physics (doubtful).

As long as they don't try to rationalize this game as being somehow canon I'm all for it. It would be nice to see it have the same staggering amount of characters as MK Armageddon.

Gotta say, I'm really looking forward to handing out some ass kickings as THE GODDAMN BATMAN! That would be a challenge even to Sub Zero.
