i dont think ive ever seen the first season, but i love house. the formula for the show is the same every episode, but it doesn't get tired. also, the big thing on this show for me is the relationships between the characters. like, the whole show's seasonal storyline (as opposed to the individual episodes which focuses more on the patients they deal with) is character driven
