Maybe I don't deserve to be here. I've treated you all terribly. Maybe none of this would have ever happened if I didn't mention my condition. But I can't change the past or time travel like Doctor Who. In any case, Doctor Who poses a strong case for not changing the past.

I've been expecting too much of people who may have liked me had I not acted the way I did back in the day. I probably came here at the wrong time in my life. You know that metaphor I used where I thought Tadao was Batman and I was the Joker he was going to beat up? Well, the story of The Killing Joke points out that the Joker is too insane to want to change. I don't want it to be like that. But there's another guy who might have taken a few hard knocks in that Alan Moore story that I admire, Commissioner Gordon. The Joker tortures him but he still wants Joker brought in "By the book". It's like that scene in Pulp Fiction where Samuel L Jackson's character says he's trying hard to be the shepherd. Sometimes I think I'm the Joker, but I'm trying hard to be Commissioner Gordon.

You guys are doing the right thing by disowning me. Bring me in by the book. I will rot in internet jail, my reign of terror is over.
