Boogie, I agree that they could've balanced the emotion shown in and out of the Matrix a little better (Morpheus' speech seemed a bit... insane?), but it's not much different from the first movie. When people are hooked into the Matrix,
apparently they have to act like asexual robots.
Johnny's analogy is pretty solid. I'm doubting my theory now.
