"However, it becomes crystal clear about 3 hours in that all you'll ever be doing is trapping someone, shoving something through their neck, and then tossing them into one of 3 generic death traps. Over and over and over."
Yeah, that's about it. And the game has no qualms constantly telling you to be "creative" with your killing by doing that exact routine over and over again. It's seems less an action game based on quick reactions or aim, and more of a platform puzzle game where you have to find the pole to shove through the neck or the barrel to cover the enemy in, then walk to a spike to finish it off.
The enemies stand around waiting to be killed in the specific A, B, C manner, just to be more handy.
I would have hoped that this game would make people think up a variety of interesting and humorous ways to kill people that even developers didn't foresee, and maybe make videos on youtube for them. As it is, I got sick of bothering and just ended up chainsawing people all the time, as it's quicker.
Are you still doing the Wii review site thing Chojin? I forgot the name of it.
