I heard from a friend that Capcom lost the Marvel license, eliminating MVC3, is that true?

Can't confirm if they lost any license but marvel vs capcom 3 is confirmed and happening

they did for a time EA had it but i think they did such a horrible job with that fighting game...nemesis, i think, it was so lackluster that noone even really remembers it.... that capcom was able to buy it back.
