As for series and fictional settings This is easier than typing it out. If you wanna call it Crisis on infinite Cybertrons, you wouldn't be far off.

As for my favorite, yeah G1/Beast Wars

However if you want to use Japanese continuity... it's all one big happy (and confusing) family.
