When i camp i bring a tent, a bedroll, first aid kit, two knives, one hatchet, mess kit, tinder kit, weed, field guide to local wild edibles, maps, some dried food and if i am really really lucky a girl.

The way most people camp is for pussies, if you can't fit it in your pack, leave it at home.*
