And regarding the attitude of the forums, I-Mockery has always been to me the only relatively public and well-known internet community with (reasonably) intelligent people where you didn't have maintain a positive energy by being nice to everyone and pretending to like them.
If a new person starts posting banal garbage and boring stock responses to other people's posts what reason should I have to humor their posting? Why should people like dirtyxblondexdame stick around and feel accepted when they contribute nothing worthwhile or entertaining?
