She said it in passing, because we were talking about some of our friends. One of them was being a dick to her, and she said something along the lines of 'Man, I'm glad I can talk to YOU about stuff like this; you're like a brother to me.'
And right now, we've got this weird quasi-relationship going on now; one of those half-relationships that's definitely there, it's just not really official yet. So, I guess things worked out in the end. So far.
