I got a metal flake in my eye when I was working at a metal machining plant. I was working at a grinding wheel and it went right up under my safety glasses. To remove the flake, the doctor had to put some kind of dye in my eye to see it better, turn on hella bright lights, and poke some kind of magnetic needle-looking thing right into my eyeball. All the while, the nurse was holding my head in a vice-like grip and the doc was telling me not to move. Fat chance of that Doc when there's a pointy thing headed right for me peepers. I finally willed myself to keep still but I didn't like it. No sir, I didn't like it at all!
