Col Flagg- I'm probably remembering it wrong. I don't remember a scent, I remember being too close and having sudden severe sinus pain like I'd just plummeted into a pool from a great height and snorted the water. Or like someone had jammed two steel hooks up my nostrils and dug in, perhaps.
