I still actually cry when I see this.

I don't know if you need to be a hardcore marathon fag to understand.

Wish they got someone better than the minibosses to do it though, those solos are awful.

the penny arcade expo has an event called the omegathon where a few gamers play against each other in a bunch of games, with the final two squaring off in a mystery game. the mystery game is usually something ancient like pong, but this year it ended up being halo 3, which was a big surprise since the game was months from being released. to kick it off they had the minibosses play the halo theme when it was revealed, and the reveal was in a very marathon-esque cryptic fashion, using lines from cortana that had only appeared in the letters that had been sent to the marathon story page.
