What inspired me to pick up a Ramones album was that I listen to a fair amount of Grunge, but a lot of it can get really abrasive (which I realize is partially the point, but that doesn't make it sound less shit) and I figured "Hey, grunge is sorta based on punk, that might feature less guitar feedback ear rape but still be fun to listen to maybe"

The only punk I like is Cardiacs and NoMeansNo (both of which are barely "punk" in my opinion). I tried to like the Dead Milkmen once, but come on, punk is boring. Move on to something else

I've never heard of NoMeansNo, but if it's even remotely as awesome as Cardiacs, I'm going to check them out at once. Which album is the one to start with?
