Exactly
What's funny is you can't find really deep games like you could back when gaming was a geek only pursuit. When's the last time Wizardry had a genuine sequel? 8 came out quite awhile ago, heck it may have been over a decade. But there's no mass appeal to a game like that, and only the old school gamers would find appeal to that game.
