I think it's honestly some kind of childish competition. Who can have the flashiest, craziest looking signature. I've seen signatures that are so huge that they even managed to dwarf some
web sites.
I agree with ya Max... a nice avatar and a small sig (or no sig at all) do just fine. There's no need to display so much crap in every post you make.
