He didn't bomb. it was a really supportive crowd most of whom knew Ron. He did, however, have a roommate in the audience with notes, and every once in a while he'd ask the roommate where he was in the routine, and what he'd already done, stuff like that. I followed his career in Boston for quite a while, and he got really good really fast. It was a pretty amazing time, especially since then I could stay up all night which I totally can't do now.

As another bit o' trivia, if you've ever seen Wendy Liebman, it was her first night, too.

My favourite comedians at the moment are Bill Bailey, Sean Lock and Frankie Boyle.

I love the show and his stand up, guy is my favorite alive comedian. It was formerly the great George Carlin. I have some rare vinyls of some of his first shows and all of his books.
