That's actually pretty much dead on, 'bonde' is Scandinavian for 'farmer'. Or maybe there's a different word for farmer in Sweden?

My name's Per Arne, and I'm pretty sure it means Cliff/Rock Eagle. Per is a short version of Peder/Peter (biblical), and Arne is Norse.

I knew this Croatian-Norwegian-American guy called Vinko Sindelar. Apparently, it means 'king of the hill'.
