baby seahorses

My dad's been raising salt water seahorses in his tanks and recently one of them had kids. They're absolutely miniscule.



You can't tell from the picture, but if you look real close you can see my camera lens is pushed right up against the goddamn glass, so that should give you a clue.

Of course probably the only person who's gonna give a shit is Jeanette

Is it true that they only have one mate for life? If so the aquarium in my town has totally messed up one sea horses life.

My sister had a dried seahorse from some big aquarium place. And one day, our cat found it and was all "Seahorse jerky meow" and ate it.

Yep. The female lays the eggs in the male's pouch and he inseminates them there. It's weird. :o
