There was a yard sale across my house, and they had an N64 for free. They said they couldn't get it to work. SO the question is: Are there certain places or websites showing how to fix damaged systems?

On a cool note, I got F-Zero X and Goldeneye for $4

Ok, I haven't come across any sites like that, and this is obviously a great gain for you, but were those people so lazy that they couldn't try calling Nintendo Tech Support? Their number's only listed on the back of every instruction book. Jesus Christwagons...

Just crack it open and compare it to a working N64's insides. Maybe dust accumulated, or some wire needs to be soldered, or some shit. :/

Yeah, if it's wires or something, that's easy to fix. But, if something is wrong with one of the ICs, then the thing is basically fucked.

Well the main reason I got the N64 is that I already had one, but I think that one might be damaged too, or that my Ocarina of Time cartridge is dead, and that would suck because it the one were Ganon vomits blood.

Aw fuck.

I just found out that not only does the free N64 I got had problems, that MY N64 has a problem. I turned it on to play F-Zero X, and it froze about a minute I tuened it on. It did that with OoT. I'm kinda relive that it's not my OoT cartridge that's not the problem. So, what should I do?

Listen. Cartridge consoles are the easiest to fix. Open it up. Check the contacts on the board. Check the pins in the connector. Clean it. Look for something that's out of place.

Clean off the eye. That's what it usually is.
