Ok guys, I'm gonna try something new here. I'm gonna predict how much money the new movies will make this weekend, and give a breakdown on the films. Plus I'll predict how much last week's champ will make this week.
LW 1. TW 1.
Shrek 2- 55M. Shrek 2 will drop almost 50% this week, but will remain #1 this week. But it be close though.
NEW 2.
The Day After Tomorrow- 46M. Will give
Shrek 2 a run for it's money, but could be in trouble next week. Day After Tomorrow will need a good 2nd week to turn a profit, with 2 huge films coming out next week.
NEW 4.
Soul Plane- 16M. This one was tough. It would be #3, but with
Warner Brothers advertising
Troy for Memorial Day, it will fall shy of taking the 3rd spot.
NEW 6.
Rasing Helen- 7M. Almost no advertising, and a heavy weekend spells a possible bomb for whoever released this flick.
