You have all played these games, games that were awesome in arcades but no company had the right mind to port them.

WWF Superstars
WWF Wrestlefest
Blood Storm
Black Tiger/Black Dragon
Ninja Baseball Batman
Spider Man: The Videogame
Vasara 1+2
X-Men
Simpsons Arcade (ok, so it was ported to DOS and amiga, but it was done so very poorly so it doesnt count)
Vigilante (an update to Kung Fu master)
Sonic The Fighters

(Edit)

I just found this game while looking for roms. It kicks supreme ass and you never even heard of it.

Avengers in Galactic Storm

Although this was ported to Commodore 64 and computer, technically, they shoulda ported Street Fighter to SNES at least. Also, Carn Evil

I never played Sonic gems collection so i wouldnt know. And Street Fighter was ported to the Turbo Grafix 16 and DOS, but the original arcade and all other versions sucked so much that if it were to be ported to the SNES it wouldve doomed the fate of Street Fighter II.

I always loved the Simpsons Arcade Game... I still don't know why it was never ported to a console :/

Well, as long as I have ROM-y goodness I suppose my Simpsons ROM and my MAME emulator will suffice.

Personally, I'd have loved to have seen the ARCADE version of Ninja Gaiden on console.

Did you ever play Ninja Gaiden on the Atari Lynx? That was about as close to a perfect arcade port as you could get. And I still say that the Lynx is the most underrated system ever.

I saw the arcade machine at this place near this barbour shop, when I used to live in Dartmouth. It was weird because I think the whole machine actually had images of this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game on it (then again, Konami made the Simpsons arcade game and every TMNT game, but I thought it was weird that there was no Simpsons art one it). Anyways, I still wanna play Street Fighter on my PS2 (rather then the Capcom Collection on the PSP, because I dont own that)

Nope, never even came close to having access to a real-life Lynx. Maybe I've just been brand-happy but I've never actually noticed if they have Lynx ROMs and emulators... if so I'm gonna have to go check that out.

They did have a version for Genesis but my emulator always crashes it so I have no idea if it compares to the arcade.

I don't have an XBox.

Personally, I wanted to buy a system for more than Ninja Gaiden and Halo, especially when, feeling the need to play either, I have about 10 friends with XBoxes.

That and I don't really care much for online gaming, which as someone who only skims videogame related news seemed to be the XBox's only huge advantage.

The arcade in my mall still has the Simpsons arcade game. Its amazing it still works since they somehow managed to let the Silent Scope and Area 51 games degrade into absolute shit.

The conan game was Rastan.

Oh and Skulhedface, Dont bother with the Genesis version of Ninja Gaiden, it sucks ass and will make you regret ever being born. Just Stick to the Arcade or Lynx Versions. There is a reason why it wasnt released.
