Talk about weird ritzy foods you've eaten

The only time I've had really haute cuisine meals (referring to it generally, not as in the specific movement of that name) was on a cruise I took years ago. I had crazy good food, like caviar and shit. One of the weirdest things they gave me, though, was called "Hampshire Duckling". I ordered it expecting a small cutlet of essentially extra-greasy chicken, like duck I'd had before, but no. I got a blunted cone of what looked like coconut jello with flavor specks blended in. It tasted like bacon.
