Name That Game: Expert Edition
Alrighty then, whenever I've needed help identifying a certain game, it's always been I-Mockery that's been most helpful (mostly through Willie's input alone) that enabled me to find what I was looking for.
However, what I present today might stump even him, though hopefully not because I reaaaaaaaaaaaally want to play this game if I ever find out what the fuck it is.
Anyhoo... this is what I recall about it.
1) It's a PC/Computer ish game from the late 80's/early 90's
2) It's a sim-type game. Though mostly text based, you control a world and the population in it. No, it's not Populous... it's more like static, sorta like Shadowgate. It's pretty creepy and descriptive if you let your world go to waste though, as it describes people dying of say, lead poisoning or cancer of some horrible sort.
3)The only thing I remember about the credits is that the guy who wrote it's first name is Chris.
4) I forget the title, but I believe the title screen is a very miscolored planet Earth.
5)Came out at roughly the same time as the game Slaughter Sport/Mondo's Fight Palace (as I remember seeing this game reviewed in a videogame magazine with Mondo's in the same issue)
It's kinda vague, I admit, but dammit, it was interesting then, and even more fascinating now.
