So I've been working at this tire shop for about a week now, when I had to do an inspection for a piece of shit honda that the guy wanted to sell and not put any money into. First thing, I could not even find one thing on the car that could pass, everything was completly fucked, he was an asshole.

I was changing his tire on on the oldest, most dangerous machine since the good ones were being used when the fucking thing started struggling and then skiped, slamming its sharp bar into the palm of my hand. I took the glove off and it started gushing blood, then quickly stopped to reveal strange looking 1" laceration. Mind you I don't have any medical coverage.

Then, on the way home it began to rain, hard. I turned on the wipers only to watch the one in front of me travel right off windshield, off the car, and bounce down a three lane highway. Now I can't see jack shit and I don't even have a valid license so crashing is out of the question. I pulled of and half assedly fixed the wiper (luck I carry lots of parts that dont fit). Only problem is I'm now driving with a fullsize pair of vise grips clamped onto the end of the blade.

A fitting end to what was a great week.

I know what the problem was, using dangerous equipment in a high volume fast paced shop with only one week expierience. Another factor is that the guy who shows me how to work this shit has a hard time with english. He can only say "always push hard", he can't explain the saftey part like "don't ever put your hand here". I don't think any of those guy think about saftey, everything is fast fast fast, get the car out the customers waiting.
