I hate when they keep putting out more and more special editions of the same movie.

I plan to amass alot more movies on VHS soon because they are now dirt cheap. (like 5 bucks

Besides, there are alot of movies worth owning, just not worth owning on DVD.

Aren't there good websites where you can go and have a catalog listing of all your DVDs or something? I need to sign up for one of those, because I have hundreds of DVDs and it'd be helpful for me to have a listing like that on file somewhere in case something happened to them, and also it's kind of useful when people are trying to Christmas/birthday shop for me.

VHS

Nothing. They are a waste of time.

DVD

Tommy: The Movie
Planet of the Apes (Burton)

Thats seriously all I have. And they were both gifts, I don't have a player even (I watch them on my computer).
My parents own a small collection, and my brother has a few too. But for the most part we aren't much of a television family, not being allowed to watch TV on days off school and only having an hour on weekdays does that to you.

I'm glad to see someone has some Akira Kurosawa.

I don't even know how you people get so many. I pour all my money into this, and I still have nothing.

Die Hard (Box Set)
Godfather DVD Collection
Stanley Kubrick DVD Collection
Indiana Jones DVD Collection
The Man With No Name Trilogy
Black Hawk Down 3 Disk Special Edition
We Were Soldiers
Windtalkers
Reservior Dogs 10th Aniversary (Mr. Yellow)
Pulp Fiction Collector's Edition
Das Boot Collector's Edition
State of Grace
To Live and Die in L.A.
JFK Collector's Edition
The French Connection 3 Disk Special Edition
Ronin
Gangs of New York
Equilibrium
Kids
Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels

These just cost me $160
Akira Kurosawa 4-DVD Box Set: (Criterion Collection)
*Seven Samurai
*Yojimbo
*The Hidden Fortress
*Sanjuro
Throne of Blood
Ran
Rashomon

I have about 200 VHS movies, so I'm not even going there.

You've got some good shit there, Jixby. Your list reminded me of a few things I want to pick up, so I've expanded my wish list.
