I've been dealing with the PTO mommies as my daughter navigates the first grade, and I hate nearly every single one of them. They are always trying to "one-up" the other with their baked goods, crafty-poo shit for class, chaperoning all the field trips and generally being the goody-two-shoes you KNOW they were in grade school. The kids that always got the gold stars and got to clean the erasers.
